1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Reaction Lab. By accessing or using our services, including our website at https://reactionlab.fun/ and our physical location in Atlantic Highlands, NJ, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services Description

Reaction Lab provides hands-on science education experiences for children ages 3-12, including Open Lab sessions, Guided Lab sessions, birthday parties, and private events. Our services are designed to be educational and entertaining, fostering a love of science and discovery.

3. Participant Registration and Waiver

All participants in Reaction Lab activities must have a completed waiver form on file. Waivers must be signed by a parent or legal guardian for all children under 18 years of age. Waivers are valid for one year from the date of signing. You may be asked to re-acknowledge electronically at each booking even if a valid waiver is already on file.

By signing the waiver, you acknowledge that participation in science activities involves inherent risks, and you agree to release Reaction Lab from liability for injuries or damages that may occur during participation, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

4. Supervision Requirements

All children participating in Reaction Lab activities must be accompanied and supervised by a parent, guardian, or designated adult at all times. Reaction Lab staff are present to guide and facilitate activities but are not responsible for direct supervision of individual children.

5. Safety Guidelines

Participants must follow all safety instructions provided by Reaction Lab staff. This includes wearing appropriate safety equipment (such as goggles and lab coats) when required, following handling instructions for materials, and adhering to behavior guidelines.

Reaction Lab reserves the right to remove any participant from an activity or session if they fail to follow safety guidelines or if their behavior poses a risk to themselves or others. No refunds will be provided in such cases.

6. Reservation and Payment Terms

Reservations for sessions, parties, and events must be made in advance, either online or by phone. Payment is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. We accept major credit cards for payment.

For birthday parties and private events, a non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking, with the balance due no later than the day of the event.

All prices are subject to change without notice. Prices are quoted in U.S. dollars and are exclusive of applicable NJ sales tax, which will be added at checkout. Current pricing will be confirmed at the time of booking.

Fulfillment occurs on the booked event date; electronic confirmation is delivered instantly by email/SMS.

7. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Our detailed cancellation and refund policy is available on our Refund Policy page. Key refund terms: 24 hours for Open Lab, 48 hours for Guided Lab, 14 days for Birthday Parties and Private Events. By making a reservation with Reaction Lab, you agree to abide by these policies.

Cardholder dispute resolution: If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact us at info@reactionlab.fun or (732) 856-8163 within 30 days of the transaction. We will investigate in good faith and, when warranted, issue a credit to the original form of payment within five (5) business days. Submitting a chargeback without first contacting Reaction Lab may delay resolution.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Reaction Lab website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Reaction Lab and is protected by United States and international copyright laws. The "Reaction Lab" name and logo are trademarks of Reaction Lab, LLC. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on this content without express written permission from Reaction Lab.

9. Photography and Media Release

Reaction Lab may take photographs or videos during sessions and events for promotional purposes. By participating in our activities, you grant Reaction Lab permission to use images or videos that may include you or your child for marketing, social media, and other promotional materials. If you wish to opt out of this media release, please notify us in writing.

10. Privacy Policy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our services, you consent to our Privacy Policy.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reaction Lab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

12. Changes to Terms

Reaction Lab reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the modified terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Monmouth County, New Jersey.
